 Instructions for Blog Entry

1. Nature of the Task: Individual or in a pair 

2. Topic: Write about something that is close to your heart, something that only you can describe. A topic you can talk about for hours without doing prior research with your classmates. It could be as simple as your pet, or a birthday party that you recently attended. It could be a person, a thing, or an experience. 

3. Target Audience: Your classmates from ENG 101 course. Think about what kind of info and writing style will appeal to your classmates. 

4. Background Information (optional): Many blogs use hyperlinks to provide background information to readers. If your topic could benefit from this feature, feel free to use it. For instance, if you’re writing about your bike, you could link to the model’s specifications or reviews. If you’re writing about a friend or family member, links might not be useful. Here’s a tutorial on adding hyperlinks. 

5. Images: Use at least two images to support the content of your post. Choose images you have taken yourself. 

6. Style: Your “voice” as a writer should come through in your blog. Try to write as you would speak. This is not the place for your academic, formal writing. Bangla words or concepts, casual language (within reason!) and conversational tone are all welcome. 

7. Length Requirement: Minimum 450 words, max 750 words. Bloggers use short paragraphs of 1-2 sentences each, so feel free to break up your writing into many paragraphs. 

8. Choosing a Title: Entice readers to click on your article with a catchy, clickbait title. Adding a subtitle is optional.

            Hello everyone. I'm Anindya and I am going to share about one of my experiences. That experience is about my competitive gaming. It is a story of 2022-23 when I got the chance to go and compete with Nepal along with my team. Why I keep a sinister dark void of a beast as my pet

  This is Spook , my pet cat. Spook, unlike his name suggests, is not spooky; he is a scaredy cat himself. He often gets mistaken for everything other than a cat: a dog, a fox, a plush, a bear even. Even I regularly mistake him for a pile of dark clothes.     Being the sinister void he is, he is often found to be looming, watching us over from great heights.  This mythical dark beast enjoys feasting on the flesh of creatures from the deep blue seas (aka fish). Spook, the mysterious shadowy feline, seems devoid of emotions; he does not particularly enjoy cuddles. However, there are times when he yowls and scratches behind my chair, indubitably seeking some pats on the head.
